The letter to the Colossians makes it clear; Jesus is supreme, sufficient, preeminent, and over all things. Writing to a church that was facing distorted and false teaching, Paul seeks to set the record straight about who Jesus is, why He is sufficient over any other human philosophy, and what that means for how we should live in every aspect of our lives. Paul helps this young church discover what it means to believe in Jesus and what it looks like to follow Him. What Paul was proclaiming to them is for us as well.
